Order
Find the patient by phone, pick packages and tests off your own menu, and see the total before you commit. Every order gets an accession number and a printable requisition.
Collect
Print the sample label, or reject a bad sample with a reason — redraws are counted on the order so nothing quietly disappears.
Result
Entry adapts to the test: numeric values carry units and reference ranges, narrative reads take free text, and films or traces attach to the order.
Verify
Results wait for sign-off before anyone sees them. Out-of-range values are flagged, and an amendment after verification is tracked as an amendment.
Deliver
Send the report as a PDF or a FHIR bundle, over WhatsApp or email — and resend it later without regenerating anything.

Common questions
Do we need to be attached to a clinic or hospital?
No. A standalone diagnostic lab gets its own workspace, its own login and its own team. Referral lanes with doctors are optional, and you decide which ones to accept.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. The Single lab tier is free and covers one collection centre with the full bench. Paid tiers add centres, and their first 6 months are free — prices exclude 18% GST.
Can our analyzers post results automatically?
Yes. Register the analyzer, map its machine codes to your test menu once, and results land on the matching order. Every ingest is logged, and you can disable a device or rotate its key at any time.
Do referring doctors have to be on Cynaps?
Doctors already on Cynaps can send orders straight to your worklist. Anyone else works the way they do today — you raise the order from a printed requisition at your counter.
We already run a lab inside our clinic. Do we need this?
No separate subscription. A clinic's in-house bench is part of the clinic's plan and lives beside the consult. This page is for labs that operate as their own business.
